About us

Beats Lab is a creative music based workshop experience, made bespoke for each project. Our driving force is young people, but we believe people of all ages benefit from making music, expressing themselves and having fun.

Since 2019 Beats Lab has been working with communities & teams helping them unlock their inner music and explore their creativity.

Our workshops consist of computer-based learning in contemporary music styles through songwriting, creating original beats, and recording using industry standard music programming software. The aim of sessions is to complete a finished track & upload it to our socials which participants can share with friends and family. Additional extras include a behind the scenes video, a larger body of original work (an EP/album) and specific themed projects.

Participants leave our workshops with a recording that’s theirs forever.

We empower our participants through music creation and we pride ourselves on our accessibility. We’ve have participants from all backgrounds and abilities that have been able to contribute artistically.

People are far more musical than they think!

‘We love delivering sessions so more people can experience the buzz that comes with creating, recording and releasing their own music.’
