The project is available every Thursday 6-8.30pm. Sessions will allow participants to learn and/or develop in songwriting, rap, vocals, beat making and programming, production, keyboards, using Logic Pro software, guitar, music video creation and more. The project is open to young people with or without musical experience.

Participants will get to learn to use the studio confidently, write songs, make beats, play instruments and record. All levels of ability are welcome including people who’ve never done music or those who already write their own songs. All areas of musical interest or skills are welcome also eg beat making, vocalists or rappers, guitarists etc. The more skills and areas of interest the better!
The original songs produced will all be featured in original youth album which we will release online for young people to access and use as a starting point for their own musical portfolios and share. Young people will create, plan and shoot content and music videos to accompany the online release and learn how important the role of visuals and social media content is for musicians starting out in their careers.
Young people will co design a street art mural for the studio in collaboration with local artist who they will also create album artwork with.
There will be 4 industry professionals visiting to give masterclasses. They will speak with young people about their first hand industry experiences, share tips and advice and give young people professional feedback on their music.
Finally there will be a live album launch party event in May 2025 where young people will have the opportunity to share their music and perform their songs live to an audience.
